Recurring Monthly Events

Lyman Branch Library
Book Discussion Group: (Adults) 2nd Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. or 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
Group members read titles selected by the group and meet for one hour each month for an informal discussion of the characters, theme, and writing style of the book as it relates to the personal experience of the participants. Members purchase their own copy of the book at a generous library discount. Refreshments are an important part of the meeting.

Book Club Monday: (September to April)-4 pm --Primary Grade Children
Children meet to enjoy books read by the librarian, and to share books that they have read and enjoyed during the week. Children receive a treat for reading books related to the monthly theme and do worksheet activities related to their reading.
Story Hour: (September to May)1:30 p.m. Wednesdays & 10:30 a.m. Thursdays. For children ages 3 - 5. During Story Hour, children enjoy books read aloud by the librarian. Movement activities, music and crafts are part of the fun.
